Dana White is a well-known figure in the MMA world. Being the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, White has been instrumental in the growth of the sport. The 53-year-old is known for his outspoken nature and is never one to shy away from expressing his opinions. For a long time now, White has found himself at odds with social media influencer and YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul.

The UFC boss has recently signed a sponsorship deal with older Paul for his Prime sports drink. White has also appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. But his good terms with Logan Paul have not helped things get better with Jake Paul.

Recently, during a podcast with Robbie Fox, the UFC boss discussed the promotion of Jake Paul‘s fight against Tommy Fury during a UFC broadcast.

He clarified that he had nothing to do with the promotion, and it was done solely by ESPN. “ESPN can do whatever they want to do. You know what I mean? That’s an ESPN move”, said the UFC President.

White has been critical of the 26-year-old’s boxing career, often questioning the caliber of his opponents and the legitimacy of his wins. He has also been vocal about his disdain for ‘The Problem Child’, who he sees as an opportunist looking to cash in on the sport of boxing.

Jake Paul’s recent fight against Tommy Fury

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury fought on Feb 26, 2023, in Saudi Arabia, in a highly anticipated boxing match. The fight went on for eight rounds. Heading into the fight, Paul had a 6-0 record, whereas Tommy Fury had an 8-0 record. Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s half-brother, Tommy Fury, put up a brilliant fight, landing some powerful punches and showing his boxing skills.

Ultimately, Fury won the match by split decision, with two judges scoring it in his favor and one scoring it in Paul‘s. It was a close contest, and both fighters showcased their skills. Jake Paul has had fallouts with many UFC top names, and fans can see him fight one of them in the future. But seeing his equation with Dana White, fans do not think it is going to be in a UFC octagon.
