Nate Diaz parted ways with the UFC last year, leaving many fans wondering about his future in the sport. It wasn’t long before Diaz announced that he would be taking on Jake Paul in a boxing match scheduled for August 5th, 2023. The news of Diaz‘s fight with Paul created a buzz in the MMA community. Many fans are excited to see how the fight plays out.

Diaz had expressed his desire to return to the UFC after establishing himself as a marquee talent in another sport. The 38-year-old is in line to achieve his aspirations if he triumphs over ‘The Problem Child’ in their boxing bout. UFC President Dana White commented about Diaz’s fight with the much younger Jake Paul and the prospect of the Stockton native’s return to the promotion.

During the UFC Fight Night – Holloway Vs Allen post-fight conference, UFC President Dana White answered many questions thrown at him by the media. Someone asked White about the possibility of seeing Diaz back at UFC after his Jake Paul fight. White had a somewhat reserved response to this. “We love Nate. I don’t know what to say,” he said.

After a few minutes, another reporter asked the UFC president about his views on the upcoming Paul vs Diaz fight. White then openly expressed that he did not have any interest in talking about the fight. He even took shots at boxing promoter Oscar De La Hoya. Things between Dana White and Oscar De La Hoya have not been good for a long time, and White has never backed away from criticizing him.

“I don’t want to sh*t on other people’s fights like Oscar De La weirdo. I don’t want to talk about the fight. First of all, neither guy is my guy. There is no need for me to comment on it. I wish him the best. I hope they make a zillion dollars,” said White.
