During a recent appearance at the Callum Walsh vs. Przemslaw Runowski pre-fight Q&A in Dublin, Ireland, Dana White was asked to share his “prediction” for Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul. The UFC head honcho first asked about the new date for the fight, possibly having doubts because of its previous postponement.

When provided with the answer, White responded by stating, “I don’t know… you know what I hope, I’m hoping what you’re all hoping”. The UFC CEO was further pressed for a clarification and he shared, “Does it happen? Yeah, that, well I don’t know, that remains to be seen you know. But, I’m hoping what we’re all hoping.”

While White has never shied away from voicing strong opinions on celebrity or novelty fights, he seemed to capture what many fans were thinking: should this fight happen? After all, in a recent statement, Tyson had confessed, “It’s hard to walk right now. But two months from now I’m going to be perfect.”
