In a recent social media post, MMA journalist Nina-Marie Daniele claimed that the preliminary fights of UFC events are more exciting than the main events of boxing matches. On her social media handle, Daniele wrote, “UFC prelim fights are more exciting than Main event boxing fights. This is a fact.” Prior to this post, the MMA journalist also stated that it’s challenging for MMA fans to enjoy boxing events.

These statements came after Daniele had posted a series of tweets updating fans about the recently concluded bout between Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo. For those unfamiliar with the fight, Canelo Alvarez defeated Charlo after dominating the ‘Iron Man’ for 12 rounds. Charlo, an undisputed light middleweight champion, had moved up two weight classes to challenge Alvarez.

Despite his ambitious intentions, the American was outclassed in the ring by the Mexican and lost the fight via unanimous decision.
