What happens when an immovable object collides with an unstoppable force? The question has forever baffled even the foremost scientists. However, it seems we may have an answer soon. Former UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is ready to take on the WBC Champion Tyson Fury in a boxing bout.
Fury, also known as ‘The Gypsy King’ is the most dominant boxer that the sport has had in years. The fighter has an impressive professional record of 33-0-1. As for Ngannou, his MMA record stands at 17-3-0. The fight is going to be a boxing exhibition match with 10 rounds. Although Fury is fighting on home turf, counting out the owner of the ‘hardest punch in the world’ would not be wise.

Both Ngannou and Fury are aware of the challenge that lies ahead 0f them. The WBC champ, who is used to fighting boxers, will not have faced an adamant and persistent force of nature like Ngannou. The Predator, on the other hand, might find himself at a slight disadvantage because the rules of boxing would definitely curb his skill set to a considerable extent.
In a recent Instagram post, Ngannou shared a collage of two pictures: one of himself in MMA gear and in another he had boxing gloves on. The fans who are eagerly waiting for the two Titans to clash wasted no time in commenting.

Praising the business acumen that The Predator possesses, one fan commented saying, “Savvy savvy business man well played @francisngannou“, while another took this opportunity to take a dig at UFC President Dana White. “Dana don’t like this post 😂“, he said.
“If he wins he is the best boxer in the world and boxing fans hate that 😢“, pointed out one fan while another already crowned him the champion, saying, “The champ has a name, and it’s called Francis Ngannou“.

Everyone knows that Ngannou moved to the PFL after failed contract renegotiations with Dana White. Now, as fellow PFL signee, Jake Paul has revealed, Ngannou will be getting an ‘8-figure’ purse for fighting Fury. Initially, it was believed that his take from the fight would be $8 million. With the updated news, Ngannou stands to make more than what most UFC champs are making per fight. According to sources, Ngannou stands to make $10 million from the Fury fight.
Retired UFC champ and present commentator Daniel Cormier publicly apologized to Ngannou for doubting his decision to go with the PFL and took back what he said about Ngannou coming right back to the promotion.

Cormier’s fierce rival and current UFC HW champ Jon Jones was originally thought to be the opponent for Ngannou. The fight would be massive. However, with both fighters under different banners, it seems unlikely. Jones started beefing with Fury in between but now it seems, Jones is gearing up to defend his title against Stipe Miocic while Ngannou has ‘The Gypsy King’ to deal with.
