The heavyweight legend is gearing up to take on Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 15. Ahead of the July date for the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul, the boxing legend faced a serious health complication. What was it? Due to an ulcer flare-up while on a flight, Tyson had to be attended to by paramedics and the event had to be postponed to November. As such, Jake Paul faced BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) star Mike Perry instead.

According to a statement released by Most Valuable Promotions, the organizers of the event, “During a follow up consultation on Thursday with medical professionals on his recent ulcer flare up, the recommendation is for Mike Tyson to do minimal to light training over the next few weeks and then return to full training with no limitations.”

In a live stream for Duelbits, Conor McGregor, who has been trading barbs with Paul, shared, “I hope Mike rattles the little dope, no one gives a f*** about him.” Now, in a recent post shared on his Instagram account, Tyson and ‘The Notorious’ can be seen sharing a laugh with the caption stating, “Ladies and gentlemen, Bare Knuckle Mike Tyson! Incredible!”

Its clear McGregor holds Tyson in high regard, and the post only added fuel to the growing buzz surrounding the upcoming fight. In fact, during his live stream, the Irishman had even lauded Tyson by stating, “You had a little health scare, I don’t know what happened to you on the plane but you look great now mate, you look great now for real so off you go, you love to see it.” But while there is mutual respect between the boxing legend and the former UFC ‘champ-champ’, the same cannot be said for Jake Paul!

McGregor fires off against rules and venue for Tyson vs Paul

Conor McGregor is never shy about speaking his mind, and his latest target? The upcoming fight between boxing legend Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. During the live stream with Duelbits, McGregor unloaded on the highly anticipated November 15 bout, expressing his disbelief that it was chosen to take place at the massive AT&T Stadium in Texas.

The Irishman, known for his bold opinions, didn’t hold back. He stated, “They’re wearing 14-oz gloves, and it’s two-minute rounds. Who gives a b******s?” It wasn’t just the rules that irked McGregor but also the venue, the AT&T stadium, which can hold over 100,000 fans. He said, “How is that even in the f***ing Dallas stadium?”

This isn’t the first time McGregor and Paul have had sparks fly between them. Over the years, Paul has criticized McGregor for supposedly ducking him. After his win over Mike Perry in July, the boxer claimed “I said, ‘OK Conor, after I f*** up Mike Perry, then you’re next. So Conor’s on Twitter all the time. He’s on his yacht all the time. Guess where he’s not? In the ring, fighting me.”

Though McGregor has rarely acknowledged Paul, he made it clear he’s not impressed by the YouTuber’s antics. But with the Irishman’s support firmly behind Mike Tyson, it remains to be seen if ‘Iron Mike’ can turn back the clock one more time on November 15 and remind the combat sports world why he was considered ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’!
