‘Magic Man’ spoke about McGregor’s boxing skills and totally undermined the Irishman’s capability in the squared circle. He claimed that ‘Notorious’ doesn’t have what it takes to become a good boxer and that a YouTuber like AnEsonGib will prove to be an enormous obstacle for him. Malignaggi said, “Conor’s boxing skills are so brutal that I think even a YouTuber like AnEsonGib would beat Conor McGregor in a boxing ring.”
AnEsonGib is a British YouTuber who was one of the first social media personalities who started off the influencer boxing scene. He is famously known for fighting Jake Paul in 2020. Malignaggi claims to have worked with the social media star and praised his boxing prowess. He said, “I worked with Gib for his first [fight] last year against Austin McBroom and Gib brings a lot of stress and a lot of pressure.” ‘Magic Man’ added, “At this point, I think he’d even beat up Conor McGregor in a boxing ring.” Let us take a look at how Conor McGregor and Malignaggi developed the bad blood they have between them.
