McGregor wasn’t the only one who had his attention caught by the incident. Chael Sonnen also expressed his thoughts, doubting the authenticity of Fury Sr.’s injury. He pointed out that the big man had three different cuts on his head with a single headbutt.

Following the headbutt, the video showed the boxer’s father announcing that they would never be beaten and that they were Spartans. He had blood trickling down his head that he later dismissed as nothing serious, claiming he had seen worse. However, Usyk’s team was not happy at all.

In the later part of the video, Usyk revealed his thoughts on the altercation. The Ukrainian mixed martial artist claimed that it was nothing but bad behavior. He said, “It’s bad behavior. Because he’s big man. He’s fighter. He’s not street fighter.” Nevertheless, no charges were pressed against the 59-year-old dad. But Team Usyk demanded an apology from the big man.
