Jake Paul has made waves with his move into mixed martial arts after signing a multi-fight deal with Professional Fighters League (PFL). He has even sent a fight proposal to Nate Diaz to be his first MMA opponent. Conor McGregor has given his reaction to the ‘Problem Child’ venturing into the MMA scene.

All of Jake Paul’s MMA bouts will be on pay-per-view. There has never been a shortage of headliner acts for Jake Paul. The new division of the PFL, Super Fight, will feature him. With six undefeated matches so far, he has had a successful boxing career. “I’ve proven myself in and out of the boxing ring and now I am going to do the same in MMA,” Paul stated in his recent YouTube video.

Even former UFC interim lightweight champion, Tony Ferguson, has offered to train Paul as his MMA coach going forward. Paul had stated that he would be presenting 50 percent of all the revenue from his fights to his opponent fighters. But Conor McGregor wasn’t impressed with that. He talked about this in a tweet that he later deleted.

Conor McGregor calls Jake Paul a “numbnuts”

Jake Paul has been a strong advocate to increase fighter pay. His entering this sport has already garnered more eyes from other mainstream audiences. But former UFC double champion Conor McGregor doesn’t think it was a smart move from the YouTube star’s point of view. This is due to the fact that McGregor doesn’t believe that Jake Paul can put on much of a show in MMA.

“Numbnuts gave away 50% of a future purse if he does an MMA bout? Wow. What an idiot. Joint partnership what? For what you Wally, Wally,” wrote McGregor on Twitter. The tweet was deleted later, but people were quick to grab take a screenshot and post it on social media.

Jake Paul and Conor McGregor have been taking shots at each other for a long time now. So it wasn’t a surprise to see ‘McJacked’ say a few things about Paul’s PFL deal. The YouTube star has confidently stated many times that he will fight McGregor when the time comes. But as of now, Conor McGregor isn’t set to fight anyone. The former UFC champion is out of the USADA testing pool, and this makes it difficult to ideate when the ‘Fighting Irish’ will return to the octagon.
