Although it’s not his UFC comeback, it is Conor McGregor’s return to combat sports with a boxing match against Logan Paul. ‘The Maverick‘, currently one of WWE’s top draws, has also competed against Floyd Mayweather, just like the Irishman, and has been featured in various noteworthy boxing events in the past. As these fighters are set to compete in India, McGregor has shared a special message, or a warning, so to speak, to the 29-year-old social media sensation and WWE superstar.
While taking a dig at Logan Paul’s boxing skills in a way that only Conor McGregor can, the former UFC double champion claimed that it’s going to be a battle between two of the biggest promotions in the world. “TKO Group! UFC vs WWE. There is levels to this, a big sloppy novice is going to find out,” said McGregor. “I hold every record and I am coming back to KO this novice and rack in more numbers for the company.”

So far, Conor McGregor has won four MMA world championships, two in the UFC and two during his time in Cage Warriors. But against Logan Paul, he seeks to become the top draw for UFC and WWE’s parent company, TKO Group Holdings, and become a “5 TIME WORLD CHAMPION.” Although it’s just an exhibition fight against the YouTuber-cum-professional wrestler, McGregor plans to shatter records and probably make more than he did in 2022, which was $43 million.
While it remains to be seen if Conor McGregor can break his previous record or not, he might have to be cautious when going against Logan Paul. But why? After all, Paul has yet to win a boxing match in his career. Well, it seems like Floyd Mayweather has spilled the beans on how to beat the Irishman.

Floyd Mayweather’s game plan for Conor McGregor has been revealed
Despite the fact that there’s always a 50-50 chance of winning a boxing match, Floyd Mayweather put on a clinic against Conor McGregor in his last professional bout. Recently, popular ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith revealed that prior to stepping inside the squared circle in the biggest combat sports showcase of all time, Mayweather had told his tactics to fight ‘The Notorious‘, while claiming that McGregor “don’t stand a chance.”
“He says, ‘I’m going to stay right in his chest.’ I said, ‘What are you talking about? You don’t do that with anybody.’ He said, ‘With him, I’m going to. He’s a striker, he’s used to clipping people,” Stephen A. Smith stated on ESPN’s ‘First Take’.

Stephen A. Smith further stated, “I’m going to be in his chest, he’s going to have to push me off and then swing. Plus, he’s going to have to circle around backwards to gain leverage to punch. By about the third or fourth round, his legs are going to be gone, and he’ll be target practice. I’ll keep him around until like the eighth or ninth round for entertainment purposes, and then I’ll finish him.” As we all know, that’s exactly how the fight panned out.
While fans wanted Conor McGregor to make his comeback inside the Octagon, they’re getting treated to a boxing match for now. What do you make of his recent bold claim about the fight against Logan Paul? Drop your comments below.
