All things aside, Ryan Garcia just showcased one of the best performances of his career in his battle against Devin Haney. Ahead of the bout, no one expected Garcia to clinch the victory as he seemed mentally unstable. ‘King Ry’ has taken the approach to troll the entire fighting community as he not only won the bout but completely dominated the WBO super lightweight champion.

The fight had everything one could wish for: Drama, Melancholy, and Action. The victory gave Ryan Garcia a reason to continue his endeavor in the realm of boxing and the face of the UFC, Conor McGregor knows for a fact that this was one of the biggest nights for the young boxer.

Conor McGregor shares a brotherly relationship with Ryan Garcia, referring to him as ‘lil bro’. After Garcia’s defeat by Gervonta Davis, now Abdul Wahid, McGregor went to Garcia’s dressing room to offer him motivation, stating that he was the future of boxing. Seems like ‘Mystic Mac’s advice to Garcia has worked for him as ‘King Ry’ defeated the chap by way of a majority decision.

The former dual weight champion saw the victory and took to his social media handle to add a long tweet for Garcia appreciating him for his victory and stating that he should hold his head high after the victory. “Well in! Jesus is King so don’t go against what he tells you personally and internally. Keep it right and good luck lil’ bro. Drink responsibly @ProperWhiskey and @ForgedStouteverynight ” wrote McGregor.

Devin Haney was dealt a majority defeat by the judges. However, what was not visible to the general eye was the injury Haney sustained on his jaw. Garcia stated that he broke Haney’s jaw. But did he? Let’s take a closer look.

Did ‘King Ry’ break Haney’s jaw?

Ryan Garcia was tremendous in his stance against Devin Haney. After the fight, Garcia stated that he might have broken Haney’s jaw due to the fact that he knocked him down thrice. However, seems like ‘King Ry’s statements were a bit early. The WBO superlightweight champion asserted through his social media handle that he is fine and has not suffered any broken jaw.

“Alhamdulillah Allah is the perfect planner he makes no mistakes. Fought like a true champion. Got up off the canvas & kept fighting. I am 100% ok and would love to do it again while we both make weight,” wrote Haney. “I have no broken anything by the way like I said I’m ok”
