One name on that list is Jake Paul, who, despite never crossing paths with the Irishman, has seized every opportunity to take a jibe at McGregor. However, the spotlight now shines on Paul’s upcoming fight against Nate Diaz, McGregor’s former rival and ex-UFC star. ‘The Notorious’ recently sat down with MMA journalist Ariel Helwani for an interview held at his very own establishment, The Black Forge Inn. As they delved into various aspects of his life, both personal and professional, the MMA fighter couldn’t help but touch upon Nate Diaz’s upcoming fight against Jake Paul. During their conversation, Helwani raised the question of the lack of support Diaz is receiving in his chances against the 26-year-old Paul.

McGregor, known for his quick wit, responded with some references while addressing the topic at hand. In true Conor McGregor fashion, he ended up mocking ‘The Problem Child’ in the process.

The Irishman said, “I fancy him [Nate Diaz] for it, to be honest. The man’s a bit windy. The other cat’s a bit windy.” He continued, “He’s[Jake Paul] a donkey. The guy’s a donkey, but you’re a cat. The donkey has a kick as well. So you just got to be worried about that.”

On the flip side, Nate Diaz has also offered his thoughts on Conor McGregor’s comeback fight against Michael Chandler. Interestingly, Diaz has shown favor towards his rival in this match, despite their previous intense encounters inside the octagon.
