“I think the film was garbage” said Mike Tyson. Arguably one of the most famous boxers of all time, Mike Tyson was not happy when he witnessed a biographical film made on his life back in 1995. ‘Tyson,’ the movie hit the box office back in 1995. The movie starred a young Michael Jai White who acted well in the movie but the story didn’t convince ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet.’

Mike Tyson is a big movie guy but he does not like the way Hollywood portrays him. The remarkable movie that was made about him back in 1995 was the epitome of class rating but it didn’t touch the heart of the man on whom it was made. While having a conversation with VladTV, Tyson explained that he was delighted that Michael Jai White played him in his biography but the movie was an average take for him.

“He did a good job, but I think the film was garbage. He did some things that I could assimilate that being me, but I think the movie was very bad,” said Mike Tyson. The movie might have not pleased the boxing giant, however, it seemed to have pleased Conor McGregor who was awe-struck by the portrayal of Mike Tyson and legendary coach Cus D’ Amato.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Conor Mcgregor shared an instance of the movie on his story and captioned it with, “Cus D’ Amato what a man. The story of Mike Tyson is so good.” ‘Mystic Mac’ loved the way Jai White acted in the movie and praised him further.

While having a conversation with ‘TheMMAHour’, McGregor explained that his comeback is similar to Mike Tyson’s comeback against Roy Jones Jr, “It’s my life, it’s what I love to do. I’m doing this forever, I’ll be recalibrating my competition. I relate to when Mike Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr. He was retired for so long and was asked ‘What do you think Cus D’Amato would say to you now you’re coming back?’ and he said Cus would say ‘What took you so long?’ That gave me goose pimples all over my body,”

Conor McGregor holds immense respect for the boxing legend and is willing to replicate what he achieved in his comeback but with improvements. Nonetheless, What are your thoughts on Conor Mcgregor’s words? State your thoughts in the comments below.
