Both fighters delivered an entertaining 6-round fight that saw Jose Aldo take control of the fight in the early rounds. When the fight ended, most people were certain that Aldo had the match in his favor. However, the judges had different opinions. The match ended with a score of 58-56, 57-57, 57-57 and was ruled as a majority draw.

McGregor has wrapped up filming the episodes of the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter and is looking forward to his comeback fight against Michael Chandler.

Conor McGregor’s rivalry with Jose Aldo was among the most fan-engaging ever in the history of the UFC. The Irishman spewed heaps of verbiage on his opponent. It saw him gain an upper hand over a fighter who was among the most feared and respected in the Featherweight division.
