Unique celebrations have always been a part of combat sports, and the UFC is no exception. From Conor McGregor‘s strut to Anderson Silvas Spiderman poses, these celebrations have become part of the culture of MMA. UFC’s middleweight champ Israel Adesanya is popular for his unique celebrations after winning fights in the octagon.

However, his most recent bow-and-arrow celebration has become more famous than any other. After Adesanya defeated Alex Pereira at UFC 287, he imitated pulling a bowstring back and launching an arrow at the unconscious Pereira. Fast forward to Apr 21, another combat athlete tried this celebration, but failed miserably.

Chase DeMoor tries to mimic Israel Adesanya

YouTuber and influencer Chase DeMoor fought at the Misfits Boxing 6 event against Stevie Knight. During the fight, DeMoor knocked down his opponent, but instead of stopping, he continued to hit him with punches. After the referee intervened, DeMoor did the iconic Adesanya celebration.

Unfortunately, DeMoor‘s celebration was short-lived as the referee disqualified him for hitting his opponent even after the fight had ended. The incident caused quite a stir on social media. Fans criticized DeMoor for his unsportsmanlike conduct during the fight. Some also mocked his failed celebration. Here are some of the fan reactions –

Brawl between Nate Diaz and Chase DeMoor

This was not the end of controversies of DeMoor at Misfits Boxing 6. Later in the event, DeMoor was sitting just behind UFC star Nate Diaz, who attended the event to support his teammate Chris Avila. Out of nowhere, Diaz threw a water bottle at DeMoor, and a brawl started.

While security stopped everyone from creating a ruckus in the arena, the fight continued outside of it. Nate Diaz and his crew engaged in an altercation with DeMoor outside the arena, that left the influencer with numerous bruises on his face.
