Conor McGregor and the BKFC haven’t left a single stone unturned to promote and raise the hype around BKFC Knucklemania 5. The headliner event includes a fight between McGregor’s former UFC opponent, Eddie Alvarez, and Jeremy Stephens. However, the fighting community had one doubt about the big bare-knuckle show.

How much money would the bare-knuckle fighters receive for their efforts at Knucklemania 5? After all, that’s one of the main things that pushes the fighters to give it their all. Let’s take a look at the total purse for the event.

What is Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens’ salary at Knucklemania 5?

Alvarez has been fighting under the banner of BKFC since 2023. He fought Chad Mendes in the co-main event of BKFC 41 on his bare-knuckle debut. ‘The Silent Assassin’ won the bout via a split decision and bagged an estimate of $800K for his win. Well, his base salary was $200K and the rest summed up for a win bonus. Of course, this was much more than his $500K payouts at UFC.

This win got him the chance to take on Mike Perry at BKFC 56. However, the bout resulted in Alvarez’s defeat via corner stoppage in the second round. Despite the defeat, he received about $1 million for his fight against Perry. Coming to Knucklemania 5, we can expect ‘American Knuckle Star’ to earn somewhere around $600K to $1M.

On the other hand, Stephens’ salary isn’t out in the open. However, we still know that his total UFC earnings counted to $2,303,600 and his usual paycheck amounted to $63K. But coming to the BKFC, we can certainly expect him to grab a bit more than that. Fighting Alvarez in the main event, Stephens can expect to get somewhere around $200K to $500K.

What’s your perspective on:

Are BKFC fighters finally getting the pay they deserve, or is it still not enough?

Have an interesting take?

But how are the other fighters in the card faring? Are they fortunate enough to earn six figures on the 25th of January? Mick Terrill and Ben Rothwell in the co-main event definitely raise the hype around the event. Let’s see how much they’re expected to earn.

Salary of Mick Terrill, Ben Rothwell, Taylor Starling, and others

Come 25th January, Terrill would defend his BKFC heavyweight championship title for the second time against the undefeated ‘Big’ Ben. In his last fight at BKFC Knucklemania 4, Terrill defended his belt against Lorenzo Hunt and received a sum of $100K for his victory. Meanwhile, the former UFC heavyweight contender, Rothwell, received a sum of $150K for defeating Todd Duffee on the same card. We can expect that both Rothwell and Terrill would receive a similar amount at Knucklemania 5.

At BKFC 28, Taylor Starling received a base pay of $20K. While her salary from the more fights is unknown, we can estimate ‘Killa Bee’s BKFC Knucklemania 5 payout to be somewhere between $50K to $100K. Her opponent, Bec Rawlings earned $100K in her last fight against Christine Ferea at BKFC 56. She has been on a 4-fight losing spree and would try her best to win on Saturday night. And for that, she might receive $100K.

Whatever the salary, the fighting community would surely enjoy the action-packed fights at Knucklemania 5. However, do you think that the fighters are getting enough at BKFC for bloodying each other up? How much do you think they should ideally receive?
