Fans react to Jones Jr. vs Pettis at Gamebred Boxing 4
Pettis and Jones Jr. fought a measured fight in the Gamebred Boxing 4 main event. Before the fight, Pettis had made it clear he was not going for a knockout finish over Jones Jr. Instead, the former UFC champion wanted to tire out his much older opponent and drag out a win.
At the end of the night, one judge scored a draw and the other two scored in Pettis’ favor. Nevertheless, both fighters were respectful to each other and grateful for the opportunity.
Fans on Twitter also paid props to both athletes for their performance.

I hope that was the last Roy Jones Jr. fight I just watched. Every person has the right to end their career how they want.
But, at 54 years old, I hate to see Jones Jr. taking punches like that to the head. He lost to Anthony Pettis pic.twitter.com/5nltWgdDEE
