According to Aspinall, Ngannou has a “slight puncher’s chance,” acknowledging his formidable punching power. However, he quickly added that he doesn’t believe Ngannou can defeat Fury. “Slight puncher’s chance for Ngannou. But I don’t think he has much of a puncher’s chance”, said Aspinall.
Interestingly, Tyson Fury himself reached out to Aspinall, seeking his assistance in the training camp. Aspinall expressed his willingness to support Fury and promised to discuss the training plans further in their upcoming conversation. “Tyson actually called me the other day. Wants me to help him with his training camp so that will be interesting. We are gonna give him a ring next week and we will look over what he wants to do or whatever.”

Despite recognizing Ngannou’s knockout capabilities, Aspinall emphasized the challenge of landing a clean hit on the elusive and skillful Fury, who he considers a master in the sport. “Fair play to Ngannou for getting what he wants. But I don’t think he really… he has got a puncher’s chance of course. He hits like a truck but he’s gotta be able to land it exactly. Fury is a master.”

While Aspinall believes Ngannou doesn’t have a chance, ‘The Predator’ himself thinks otherwise. In an interview with TMZ Sport, the former UFC champ issued a warning to Tyson Fury ahead of their fight. Further, Ngannou stressed that the undefeated boxer should take the match seriously, or he might regret his decision.

“Tyson has said a lot of things. He better just get ready for October 28th. Because if he’s not taking this seriously, I think he might get surprised and get some regrets for his life. I’m impressed to see how people are counting me out of this and it also gets me excited.”
