The return of Conor McGregor to the octagon has been the talk of the town. However, it seems like the road to his much-anticipated comeback is not all so smooth after all. Despite being touted to make a grand comeback this year, there hasn’t been any official announcement yet, leaving fans hanging in uncertainty. The Irishman’s ongoing issues with the USADA and his external shenanigans also make for a significant setback in jeopardizing his return.
On the flip side, amidst all the uncertainty, it seems like boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has teased a major collaboration with the UFC superstar. Hearn, who is also the Matchroom Sport chairman, recently witnessed massive success with the Canelo Alvarez vs. John Ryder match, which did incredible numbers on pay-per-view. Now, the 43-year-old promoter seems to have big plans with the former double champ.

Hearn recently took to Twitter to make a big announcement about his collaboration with UFC superstar Conor McGregor. The announcement came in response to a tweet by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, who is currently in Ireland and had shared about his meet-ups at the Irishman’s very own venue, The Black Forge Inn.
Seizing the opportunity, the boxing promoter sent out a tweet that sent shockwaves across social media.

This isn’t the first time Hearn and McGregor have connected. They previously collaborated to bring Irish boxer Katie Taylor to fight at Croke Park. McGregor even generously offered to sponsor the event’s security costs. However, the details of their upcoming collaboration remain under wraps, leaving fans to speculate and anticipate with bated breath. Nevertheless, it goes without saying that the collaboration is expected to be exciting.
On the other hand, ‘The Notorious’ will be seen coaching for the second time in the 31st installment of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ which will air on May 30 on ESPN.
