The aftermath of the latest DAZN boxing event in London at the O2 Arena has taken a wild turn. The year 2017 marked the Irishman’s inaugural boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather – a clash that etched itself in the annals of sports history as one of the most lucrative fights ever. Now, it appears that the Irish fighter is poised to step into the squared circle once more. This time, it’s against the internet sensation and ‘Sidemen’ co-founder KSI. And it seems ‘AJ’ is excited about the idea!

Anthony Joshua extends a supportive nod to KSI

The Irishman’s attention-grabbing call-out unfolded when he appeared in the audience during the headline fight featuring Anthony Joshua versus Robert Helenius in London. Amid the excitement of the event, the TUF S31 coach directed his focus toward KSI, who was also present at the event. Moreover, when asked about the prospect of another boxing match, McGregor’s had a rather intriguing suggestion. ‘Notorious’ maintained his unfiltered demeanor when he took center stage in the boxing ring during the night’s festivities.

 

Once inside the ring, the former UFC champ was interviewed by host Ade Oladipo, where his microphone prowess once again took center stage. He amplified his challenge to KSI, proposing an unprecedented showdown under bare-knuckle rules.

“I know your man – KSI is in the crowd, yeah. He couldn’t box eggs – if he walked in an egg boxing factory. If he walks in here, I’ll give a bare-knuckle if you want,” he declared.

While the focus was largely on the intensifying exchange between the Irishman and KSI, ‘AJ’ had a unique response of his own. After his win, as the energy in the arena settled, Joshua added his amusing reaction to the playful interaction between McGregor and KSI. With a grin, Joshua remarked, “That’s my guy!”
