Combat sports fans are used to seeing athletes beef with each other. After all, it makes the sport all the more interesting. Hence, it is common to see MMA fighters and boxers trash talk quite often. Anderson Silva has been entangled in an issue.
Former UFC champion Anderson Silva took up boxing after parting ways with the UFC. He seems to have found success in boxing too. He already has a boxing match coming up on May 14 on the same card as Floyd Mayweather.

As a result, Silva was at the press conference with Mayweather, Don Moore, and others. Amidst his disagreements with UFC President Dana White, the athlete thanked Mayweather.
Silva said, “… thank you for everybody for come to see the show, you know and thank you. Thank you for trust me and give me opportunity for showing my respect for boxing.”
While speaking, Silva turned towards Mayweather, who was seated on his immediate right, and shook hands while continuing to speak.
He further said, “I’m so excited, I’m so excited. It’s an amazing event here in Dubai. This is my second home and I’m so happy to be here.”

What is the beef between Dana White and Anderson Silva?
In an exclusive interview by ‘Sportsnaut‘, Anderson Silva said unfavorable things about the promotion. The fighter did not like it when people started doubting his MMA abilities after a couple of losses.

In addition to this, Silva also spoke about the fighter pay at the UFC. As per him, he made more money in the Julio Cesar Chaves boxing match than in his last three UFC fights. He also stated that the promotion did not respect the legacy of its fighters.
These comments surely did not go down well with Dana White. As a result, White blasted Silva at the UFC 274 press conference and was baffled by what he said.
