Frankie Edgar, a former UFC lightweight champion, warns Nate Diaz. He spoke about the potential dangers of facing off against YouTube personality and boxer Jake Paul. Further, during a podcast with Edgar and Bryan Callen, Schaub claimed that Paul was the ‘real deal’ and should not be underestimated. While many accused Paul of celebrating fixed victories, it seems he has won over several MMA personalities.
Nate Diaz is no stranger to the combat sports world. Furthermore, he is a seasoned veteran of the UFC, with a professional record of 21-13. He is known for his impressive striking skills and formidable ground game. This has helped him earn victories over top contenders such as Conor McGregor and Anthony Pettis.

Jake Paul, on the other hand, may not have the same level of professional fighting experience as Diaz. However, he has made a name for himself in the boxing world with a record of 6-0. Paul has made headlines for his recent string of high-profile knockouts. This includes a victory over former UFC legend Anderson Silva.
Edgar and Schaub claim Paul is now the ‘Real Deal’
The former UFC lightweight champion claimed ‘The Problem Child’ was no longer just a YouTuber. The MMA panel gave him credit and recognized him as a pro boxer.
Moreover, since his win over ‘The Spider’, they now are aware of the danger Paul packs in his punches. Edgar said, “Bro Anderson Silva really tried winning that fight.“
“Before the Anderson fight. I was like ‘Oh Jake gonna be in some trouble’. Yeah, then I saw the Anderson fight. Like he’s out boxing him. His footwork’s good. His like counter shots, when he dropped him I was like this kid’s the real deal. For the level he’s at…,” Schaub added.
