After such an impressive showing, the questions have come up about what’s next for ‘The Spider’. Boxing and MMA fans want to see him compete again. Given he looked totally at home against a former world champion like Chavez Jr., it only makes sense the Brazilian gets back at it again.

At 46-years-of age, Silva, a neophyte boxer, made a statement by taking on an opponent with loads of experience. Chavez has almost 60 pro-fights under his belt. Despite that, ‘Spider’ Silva made it look easy and his legend grew even bigger after this fight.
Silva is not the first MMA fighter to transition to the sport of boxing. However, one might argue that he put on the best show. As one who has always been known as a crafty striker, ‘The Spider’ showed a new layer to his game tonight.
