Khabib Nurmagomedov recently shared his thoughts on the highly-anticipated showdown between Francis Ngannou and heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury. The announcement of their upcoming clash, scheduled for October 28 in Saudi Arabia, has sparked excitement among combat sports enthusiasts. However, it’s worth noting that while the fight will impact both fighters’ records, Fury’s coveted WBC title will not be up for grabs. Despite this being Ngannou’s boxing debut, reports suggest that the former UFC heavyweight champion is set to rake in an astonishing eight-figure income of over $10,000,000 from this bout alone.
Such a lucrative payday speaks volumes about the magnitude of this event. However, even with the hype surrounding the fight and the significant financial gain awaiting Ngannou, ‘The Eagle’ cast doubt on the Cameroonian-French fighter’s ability to hold his own against ‘The Gypsy King’.

He further added, “In boxing, I don’t see anyone that can touch his face, maybe [Oleksandr] Usyk. Usyk is going to be his toughest challenge for Tyson Fury.”
Despite his doubts, ‘The Eagle’ acknowledged the financial potential for Ngannou in pursuing this boxing match. emphasized, “If he can go to boxing, he’s going to make 50-60 million dollars, he has to. Why not? Because I know that Francis has come from a poor life… If someone pays you more money, go and take it, if your goal is money.”
