Perhaps it has not been the greatest time for clean-shaved McGregor. Ever since he shaved his beard off, things have gone downhill for him. While we are still digesting his feud with Artem Lobov, Dillon Danis says McGregor probably doesn’t even know that he is booked to fight KSI. Surely not, right? Danis has been a long-time compatriot of ‘The Notorious’, a part of his camp since his glory days. Perhaps that’s why it left everyone wondering how can he could not be aware of his companions’ fight.

The Irish whiskey boss just can’t catch a break. Recently Dillon Danis, another companion of McGregor, who hasn’t been seen with him for a while, got caught in controversy. He was involved in a backstage fight with British YouTuber turned boxer KSI, which now will be settled in a ring. And even during the boxing promotion, his name is dragged in between.
Dillon Danis Claims that Conor McGregor is probably unaware of his boxing match against KSI
‘The Nightmare’ and ‘El Jefe’ clashed over a twitch stream recently, where the British YouTube icon claimed that his opponent has not been in touch with Conor McGregor for a long time. What added fuel to the fighter was that the jiu-jitsu master himself claimed that he hadn’t talked to the former 2-division UFC champion about his boxing debut.
Conor McGregor faced one of the greatest boxers of all time, Floyd Mayweather, so it was a surprise that Danis did not reach out to him. KSI asked that if he called a lightweight UFC fighter would he pick up?

Danis replied, “He doesn’t know about the fight. He’s not interested in me fighting a YouTuber… This is like little s***. He’s more worried when I fight MMA and I fight real fighters.”
Furthermore, ‘El Jefe’ recalled how KSI met the MMA duo back when they were preparing to face Eddie Alvarez. Moreover, KSI came over to shoot related to UFC 2. Since he was late, he had to sit out for 10 hours.
Who would have thought that the gamer would end up challenging the jiu-jitsu master just a few years later? The world of combat sports is evolving. More and more unorthodox fighters are now joining the sport.
