Chael Sonnen recently uploaded a YouTube video titled – ‘Jake Paul slams Nate Diaz for failing to promote upcoming boxing match…’ Throughout the entire video, he sided with the ex-UFC fighter and stated that Diaz has indeed been promoting the fight in his own style.

Moreover, he recalled the famous moment between Conor McGregor and Diaz in the press conference leading up to their UFC 196 fight. In that press conference, Diaz had taken a hilarious shot at McGregor for training with Ido Portal. “You’re playing touch-b*tt with that dork in the park”, Diaz famously said.

“I can remember Nate showed up to a press conference opposite Conor McGregor and he made fun of a guy with a ponytail doing strength and conditioning in a park. It was funny, it was really funny but he wasn’t trying to be. He was annoyed with something he saw and he brought it up and it was just this great theatre. So I gotta defend Nate man. “

Moreover, the American Gangster also mentioned how Diaz is doing his bit to promote the fight via all the leaked sparring footage and stories. “He’s done a great job! And by the way, when those guys who spar with him go on and they talk to Ariel (Helwani) and talk to me. They do stories and they tell you about those sessions, that counts as credit towards Nate. That doesn’t happen without Nate.”

“He talked a lot more sh*t to me before we signed up to fight. He is kind of being a b*tch in that sense. I expected more out of him. But pretty much he has rolled over like a b*tch and has been quite boring which pisses me off.”
