Conor McGregor put the whole MMA world into a frenzy when he announced that he’d be fighting in a boxing match against Logan Paul recently. However, the YouTuber-cum-WWE superstar was tight-lipped on the matter, until now! Paul recently posted a YouTube video, where he mentioned that he was all in for the boxing match against McGregor, but could be swayed not to compete if WWE’s president Nick Khan was willing to splash the rumored $250 million payout.
“If Conor McGregor wants to fight, we are running it. I mean, bro, it’s an epic fight… It would be something I’d like. Step away from the WWE for a second to do [that fight],” Logan Paul stated on his YouTube channel. “$250 million, bro. I’ve got to take that. If Nick Khan matches that, I’ll stay in the WWE.”
The 29-year-old also added that McGregor could be trying to convince Dana White about the fight, given that the UFC CEO recently dismissed that ever happening, and it is all because of the Irishman’s contractual obligation with the promotion. “I think he’s trying to pressure Dana into making it happen because he’s owned by the UFC,” Logan Paul added. “He can’t f***ing sh*t, let alone fight without them knowing.”

Dana White’s reaction to Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul
It is safe to say that the boxing exhibition has its fair share of drama. Opponents have now ranged from Logan Paul to his business partner and fellow YouTube star KSI. And guess what? KSI even confirmed the same on his X account. But it seems that Dana White isn’t thrilled regarding any of this. He not only dismissed the fight but also brutally rejected it and claimed that McGregor could make his return inside the Octagon later this year.

“Eventually [Conor McGregor will return to the UFC],” White stated in ‘Pardon My Take’. When asked about the Irishman’s fight against Paul, an emphatic UFC CEO added, “No, no, no, no. Hopefully, Conor McGregor returns… in the fall of this year.” So, it looks like the former UFC double champion might have to fight his contract out as soon as he can if he ever wishes to compete outside of the biggest MMA promotion in the world.
Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see if this fight ever comes to fruition because anything can happen in the world of combat sports. Despite that, let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
