Jake Paul does not like to keep his eggs in one basket and always has a new venture up his sleeve. On top of that, he is unique to the point that he cannot be cooped up in a box. The prizefighter tagline fits him perfectly, and he has gone from being a million-dollar YouTuber to a bonafide boxing champion. Is he aiming higher? Who knows? But what we know for sure is that he is in it to defeat some UFC fighters.
He has had 10 fights and with Tyson’s fight pushed back, his next target is none other than Mike Perry. However, this battle might be a little more difficult than the previous ones. Both are training hard and commenting on each other’s prep already and we have intel on what Perry thinks of his opponent.

Mike Perry voiced his opinion on Paul’s weight cut ahead of their boxing match. The duo is scheduled to clash on July 20. Paul was already preparing for his bout with Mike Tyson. However, that was pushed back to November because of the latter’s health concerns. Now Perry will face a more menacing Paul. In a recent interview with FightHub TV, Perry addressed ‘The Problem Child’s’ massive transformation, and he hinted at the use of PEDs.
The former UFC fighter said, “Jake went from you know when I spired him a couple of years ago I was 179-180, and he was one ninety five maybe 205. And if he went from that weight as a natural weight for him, But he wasn’t I mean I think he was about to fight Ben Askren but I don’t think he was cutting weight at the time. To put on 25 pounds, I don’t know how someone does it. I guess without a cheat code.”
Paul has previously been accused of “juicing up” as well by fans when he was preparing for his previous fight. ‘Platinum’ mentioned the sparring session a few years ago where Paul was comparatively lighter, but despite his suspicions, he also said that it did not matter to him. Perry also concluded that Paul “looks flubbery.”
The 32-year-old was confident that the Florida Commission would handle drug testing precisely. It seems like there are a few people who do not really like Paul and one of them is Dillon Danis, as he accused the YouTuber of dirty play.

Dillon Danis on Jake Paul
‘Platinum’ was ready to fight Danis in a BKFC match, and despite their slander, Perry cleared the misunderstandings. With good air between them and no hard feelings, the match was ready to come on stage. However, now Danis is salty and blames the Paul brothers because Perry is going to fight ‘The Problem Child’.
Danis took to IG and wrote, “Funny how obsessed the Pauls are with me. Me and Perry had a fight and a lock-signed contract on my end, and someone leaked it to Jake Paul, so he went and sabotaged it. It’s okay though, it will do like 5 PPV buys like the Diaz and Jorge fight. I’m the king of this s**t.”

Surprisingly, this is not the first time Danis had a beef with the Pauls. He even branded the brothers as fake siblings and claimed that they were “opposing forces.” He also revealed that the family dynamics between the Paul brothers were a bit off. In an appearance on ‘The Full Send Podcast’ last year, Danis took a jab at the Paul brothers, saying, “Jake is fake, I think. Their fake brothers, like Andrew said, go at each other in a way that real brothers wouldn’t. They oppose each other, like opposing forces. You can’t let him bring in Prime when he lets him bring something.”
It is yet to be seen how the beef between Danis and Paul pans out. Meanwhile, who do you think will win in the July 20 bout between Mike Perry and Jake Paul? Drop your predictions in the comments below.
