Darren Till is an excellent striker and he’s built his career on the back of his fists. However, grappling and wrestling brought him down to the mat. Now, Till has changed promotions. “We wanted this fight a long time ago, now we don’t care because your putting boxing gloves on”

“I liked then unliked when i realized this wasnt bare knuckle. Mike perry doesnt belong with gloves on”

“We need it to be BARE KNUCKLE !!!!!!!”

Clearly, a lot of fans wanted Perry and Till to fight each other in a very street-fight-ish manner. However, that’s not what they’ll be getting.

“One of the funniest downfalls in mma history. . .absolutely desperate for a paycheck”

“Mike gonna smoke u ngl”

Meanwhile, others weren’t too happy with Till. Maybe it had to do with his last two fights with the UFC or there just some Mike Perry fans in the comment section. Fortunately for Till, his supporters showed up too.

“Darren I’m praying for your return, have at ‘em brother!”

“Darren’s been training with his demons”

Even Khamzat Chimaev spawned in to support the fighter commenting:

“🥇🦾🦁”

So, what’s the big deal? Is it just that Till left the UFC after losing a couple of fights? While some fans think so, boxing was probably a decisive choice for the striker. The Liverpool native had previously taken to his social media to confirm his boxing rumors and reveal that he’d be willing to fight whoever steps up to him. Now, it looks like he’s gotten the challenge he wanted.
