Former UFC star, Jake Shields posted a clip of Gordon Ryan and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson engaging in a BJJ rolling session, where ‘The King’ appeared to be dominant on ‘The Mountain’.
Watching these mammoth of men on the mats engaging in an intense grappling session elicited all kinds of reactions from the fans. Most of them are simply blown away by the sheer sight of these two clashing.

The American submission grappler is just 27 years old and already has a mind-boggling record 152-9-3. The stats are unfathomable, considering the ratio of his victories and defeats, where the gap is overwhelmingly wide. Gordon Ryan certainly holds the reputation of his being called “The King” after all.

In the clip, given the size discrepancy between the two, Ryan was still able to dominate Björnsson in the grappling session.

Joe Rogan has expressed his admiration for Gordon Ryan on various occasions. The 27-year-old was also a guest on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Additionally, Rogan praised Ryan on Instagram when he submitted Andre Galvao to win his fifth ADCC World champion title.
