“It’s Not Gonna Go Well”: Jacked Bodybuilder Promised a Reality Check by Demetrious Johnson After Ridiculous Claims on Nate Diaz and UFC Legend Prompts Ex-Champ’s Response

The combat sports community has often witnessed celebrities agreeing to square off inside a ring. While some of them, like Logan and Jake Paul, have transitioned to combat sports completely after starting with celebrity bouts. The world currently seems to be in a frenzy of the possible “cage fight” between the billionaires, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. But, recently the famed former UFC Heavyweight, Brendan Schaub, revealed the development of another celebrity bout involving the noted MMA legend, Demetrious Johnson.

A few days back, ‘Big Brown’ appeared on an episode of the noted bodybuilder, Bradley Martyn’s podcast. Apart from a volley of other issues, the duo also talked about some fight-related topics. They opined on how the size advantage of an individual can often be underplayed by the skills of his tinier rival in a fight. But the difference in their opinions led to the development of this probable fight.

Brendan Schaub revealed discussions with Demetrious Johnson about fixing this bout

A few days back on the ‘RAWTALK’ podcast, Schaub and Martyn presented varying opinions about the victor of a fight between him and the former UFC Flyweight king, Johnson. Most UFC fans are aware that ‘DJ’ stands only at 5’5″ tall. Still, Schaub was confident that ‘Mighty Mouse’ could beat the 6’3″, 250 lbs, Martyn in a fight. But the bodybuilder presented a different opinion, stating, “I’m gonna crush his head on the floor”.

‘Big Brown’ recently showcased that he was quite serious about this bout. Lately, when Martyn appeared on Schaub’s YouTube podcast, he revealed, “I spoke to Mighty Mouse yesterday”. It was apparent that ‘Big Brown’ positively wanted the bout to happen.

He continued to describe his motive behind talking to Johnson, stating, “He reposted the clip. All fighters hit me up and I’m like, ‘Bradley is my boy, he’s a good dude, trolling, working his a** off’, anybody who meets you is gonna love you.“

After this, ‘Big Brown’ revealed the prime news as he quoted his words to ‘Mighty Mouse’ asking him to get this bout done. Schaub also revealed Johnson’s response, quoting, “Yeah, Just tell him, I’m down. It’s not gonna go well”.

Surprisingly, DJ was not the only fighter Martyn tried to take on recently. He raised a similar question to UFC legend Nate Diaz.

On a recent episode of Martyn’s own YouTube podcast, he was joined by none other than the ‘Stockton Gangster’, Nate Diaz. However, he shocked a number of fight fans with one of his segments in it.

Almost every UFC fan is aware of Diaz’s ‘gangster’ persona, who is also regarded as a genuine threat in street fights. But, ignoring all of this, the 6’3″ bodybuilder presented a challenge to take on Diaz in a street fight.

However, most of the fans’ shock turned into annoyance after he claimed that he could even beat Diaz in a street fight. Looking at the current situation, it’s unlikely that Diaz will accept the challenge. He is probably busy training for his boxing match against Jake Paul on 5 August.

But it’s understandable that a large chunk of combat fans will hope Schaub’s words are true. Most of them would probably love to see the over-ambitious Martyn get beaten down by 5’5″ Johnson after his tall claims.
