Mike Perry is definitely not the type to stay silent, especially when someone like Conor McGregor starts stirring the pot! ‘Platinum’ took on Jake Paul in a boxing match on July 20 after the social media star turned boxer’s fight against Mike Tyson fell through. The self-proclaimed ‘King of Violence’, squared off against Paul but it just wasn’t his night. Paul pummeled him across the ring, knocking him down repeatedly before finally putting him away in the sixth round.

But the real fireworks? They came after the fight. Conor McGregor, now a co-owner of BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship), couldn’t resist poking the bear. He jumped on social media and took shots at Perry, claiming some serious stuff about his future in BKFC. According to Joe Rogan, there’s a simple reason behind the back and forth!

During the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) MMA Show no. 162, the UFC color commentator was joined by the welterweight king, Belal Muhammad. The conversation touched upon the BKFC and its rise to prominence as Muhammad pointed out, “But they’re (BKFC) starting to pay these guys when you see guys like Eddie Alvarez and Chad Mendes go over there, you’re like…”

Muhammad’s observation holds true as in recent years, many prominent names like Luke Rockhold, Michael ‘Venom’ Page have all tried their hand at bare-knuckle boxing. But what about Conor McGregor becoming a part-owner of the BKFC? ‘Remember The Name’ brought it up too but stated, “But McGregor’s grimy though, after Mike Perry lost and he said yeah,  I’m cutting him out, like bro who just tweeted, I wonder this guy tweeted for himself…”

Rogan chimed in by adding that, “He’s tweeting for fun. Apparently Mike Perry has a piece of bare knuckle too… I think that’s what he said, he’s like I’m one of the owners too motherf**ker.” While the podcast host isn’t entirely wrong, what Perry actually said was, “He doesn’t f*cking have a promotion. Me and him are both owners of BKFC, so he can’t fire me.”

‘Platinum’s response was to a number of since-deleted posts on social media where McGregor had stated, “Hey Mike you’re released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired.”

Mike Perry wasn’t the only one with something to say, though. As the dust settled, Jake Paul, never one to shy away from the spotlight, also weighed in on the situation. So, how did ‘The Problem Child’ respond to the drama unfolding around Perry’s future in BKFC?

Jake Paul chimes in by offering Perry a “job” after McGregor ‘firing’ the BKFC star

In his social media tirades against Mike Perry, Conor McGregor didn’t shy away from taking aim at Jake Paul as well. Calling him “the biggest p**bag I have ever seen in my life”, the Irishman added even more fuel to the flames. However, Paul responded by making an interesting offer to ‘The King of Violence’, in case he really did get released from BKFC!

Speaking on an episode of the ‘BS w/Jake Paul’ podcast, he stated, “Mike Perry, as you got fired by Conor McGregor from BKFC, we will hire you at Betr into a partnership and give you some sort of role. We’ll figure out what that’s going to be. Betr has a job for you, Mike Perry.” Offering a job to someone you just stopped in a boxing match? Bold move. But Paul later indicated that “He can keep fighting. We can maybe start a podcast with him or something; we’ll figure it out.”

So far, the saga seems to have cooled down and Paul is gearing up to take on Mike Tyson on November 15. As for Perry, he has launched ‘Dirty Boxing Championships’ which aims to blend together elements of MMA, boxing, and Muay Thai. Do you think Conor McGregor will eventually take part in the BKFC as a fighter once he is done with the UFC? Will he fight Mike Perry and finally settle their differences with a showdown?
