Brawls breaking out ahead of the fight have become a predominant case in the fight business. Regardless of the sport, whether it is boxing or MMA when two fighters share the stage before squaring off, they tend to go berserk at times. And it all helps with hyping up the audience for the fight. One such brawl broke out recently at the BKFC press conference between Lorenzo Hunt and Mike Richman. The altercation kicked off on a classic note with trash-talking and both the fighters went from exchanging verbal blows to landing hits on each other. However, usually, these instances are controlled before things go too far, but not this one. This heated moment led to a nasty fight between the fighters that destroyed the stage itself. Although, given the extremes this brawl hit, the fans found it to be of dull spirit and suspected its legitimacy.
MMA fans are not having it this time
Lorenzo Hunt and Mike Richman are set to face each other in the octagon on February 17 at the BKFC KnuckleMania 3. And before their encounter, both fighters were fulfilling their pre-fight formalities by doing press-conferences and interviews. But it appears their urge to scratch the itch of fighting is hard to uphold, and they went straight to it in their recent presser.

‘The Juggernaut’ can be seen saying, “You can’t be that stupid” to ‘The Marine’, in response to what appears to be some critical remarks being directed at him. They then started attacking one another, which led to a nasty altercation on stage. Responding to this, the fans put out their viewpoints, with some being disappointed wherein others suspect staging.
One fan seemed habituated to such brawls:
Average bkfc presser

A fan feels it was staged, and offered some reasoning, too:
They weren’t even throwing punches? Seems pre-planned.

This fan took a snide jab at Dana White, in regard to his recent slap controversy:
This dana white slap fest is getting out of control

It appears that such altercations don’t get all the fans hyped after all for this one supporter.
Every time this goes down during press time, my interest in that fight goes completely out of the window.

Not a good tactic, suggests this fan:
Good way to injure yourself and lose your purse.
— Cory (@CoryCVC) January 20, 2023
This brawl didn’t match up with this fan’s expectations:
That slap was weak af https://t.co/e8p0lljsCS
— Kaay (@kalkooheji_) January 20, 2023
And in a fit of wit, this fan reacted by making a sarcastic quip about the altercation:
If only there was a place for them to settle their differences
— Jon Gorden (@JMKRIDE_Jon) January 20, 2023
A supporter pointed out the irony of the moment:
"You got to be stupid" then proceeded to do something stupid. C'mon man #RepresentationMatters @bareknucklefc https://t.co/C8uRSPhuBM

Nevertheless, apart from the fans, Lorenzo Hunt himself reflected on this heated incident by putting out a brazen statement for Mike Richman.
Lorenzo Hunt issues a ‘wild’ warning
Looking back at losing his cool against ‘The Marine’, the 40-year-old MMA fighter compared the incident with threatening a lion. Hunt took to his Instagram and put out the clip from the brawl, explaining why it was unwise to approach him in that way.

Lorenzo Hunt wrote, “He who guards his mouth guards his life… that sh*t is biblical…. Don’t threaten to bite a lion and don’t threaten to slap a juggernaut…”
