Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling will make his debut in the featherweight division against a formidable featherweight contender, Calvin Kattar, on April 13, 2024, at UFC 300. Sterling has also picked the fighter to headline the UFC 300 card. Here is what he had to say.
Aljamain Sterling expects Conor McGregor to headline UFC 300

Former Bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling was among the few fighters announced to be featured in the UFC 300 fight card. The “Funk Master” predicted the UFC 300 main event in a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel.
“I’m just saying if we’re trying to make this a huge card, what bigger fight can there be? Obviously Jon Jones is out,” claimed Sterling, hinting that there is a bigger draw than Jon Jones since he is out with an injury.
Aljamain Sterling claims that Conor McGregor brings the most value from a number standpoint. He predicts McGregor will take on Michael Chandler at UFC 300, as he states, “But what bigger fight can there be outside of John Jones to bring a huge just number value to this card other than Conor McGregor versus Michael Chandler? I think that is a huge fight.“

‘The Notorious’ vents out his frustration on not getting a fight

The Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin fight brought many big names to the event. UFC superstar Conor McGregor is one of them. The Notorious was interviewed after the event by talkSPORT Boxing, where McGregor revealed his frustration with the UFC.
In the interview, McGregor claimed that the UFC has recently treated him poorly. He explained that the UFC should’ve opened the floodgates for him, especially after all the figures that The Notorious brought in for the sport. McGregor stated, “I’m waiting! And my patience is wearing thin on me waiting,” implying that he was frustrated with the promotion.
