After the UFC had released Dos Santos, there were speculations about the former heavyweight champion’s future. Fans were wondering where he might head next. Well, those questions have been answered as AEW seems to be the Brazilian fighter’s new home.
Dos Santos left the promotion on the back of 4 consecutive T/KO losses. These defeats came against the likes of Francis Ngannou, Curtis Blaydes, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and Ciryl Gane. The loss to Gane ended his UFC career. While many thought he might look elsewhere to continue his MMA career, it seems like he is set to pursue a career in AEW for now.
