Paige VanZant Teases a Clash With Former WWE Superstar After Recent AEW Signing

Paige VanZant recently signed with AEW. Although she had appeared on AEW shows occasionally, now, she has become a full-time member of the AEW family. However, even before joining the AEW, she had made headlines and worked with one of the biggest stars in AEW.

Recently, ’12 Gauge’ spoke to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi and talked about her future with the inception of the new AEW journey.

VanZant also discussed her segment with former WWE superstar Chris Jericho. She said, “We exchanged some words. I definitely have some heat with Chris Jericho, still.”

“I definitely see us, meeting up along down the road because I have some unfinished words to say for him. But yeah, he had some stuff to say about me, and I had some stuff to say back. So, I’m excited to see what, what else comes of that.”

The famous exchange came before Full Gear. During the Inner Circle and ATT’s heated rivalry on AEW Dynamite, VanZant wanted to join team ATT and beat all the members of Inner Circle by herself.

Earlier, Jericho verbally destroyed ’12 Gauge’ with some heavy words and even resembling Conor McGregor‘s trash talk with Dustin Poirier, with the ‘slide into DM’ phrase.

Even Paige VanZant had beat up Jericho with her fists, during an episode of AEW Rampage Grand Slam, where even ‘Gamebred‘ Jorge Masvidal made his presence and landed a brutal running knee right in the face of Chris Jericho.

Now that VanZant has become ‘All Elite’, it would be interesting to see how she handles her business with Chris Jericho.

Paige VanZant loved working with Tay Conti

VanZant had a rather dramatic contract signing. Her first adversary seems to be the Brazilian Tay Conti. However, setting aside the storyline, VanZant is happy to work with the Judo black belt, Conti. VanZant, 8-5, in MMA loved the fact that Conti has a martial arts background and is excited to work with her.

Furthermore, VanZant discussed her little feud with Brandi Rhodes in AEW. Also, she is not affected by Brandi Rhodes and her husband Cody Rhodes leaving the AEW.
