Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson was one such name that struck fear into the hearts of his opponents during his time in the octagon. His intimidating physicality only heightened the aspect of him being a fearsome foe. Even the fans are well-versed in this fact, as Jackson’s reputation for dominance spread far and wide.

Jackson’s combat sports career spanned from 1999 to 2019, a glorious two-decade journey where the Memphis-born fighter made sure to live up to his moniker, ‘Rampage’. One of the craziest incidents that showcased Jackson’s full rage occurred during his participation in the 10th season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. It was in that moment when Jackson lost his cool, setting off a chain of events that left everyone astonished.

Recently, ‘Rampage’ Jackson decided to share his side of the story from 2009, narrating what transpired during that intense moment. However, the fans, ever skeptical, are keeping their doubts intact.

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson tells the notorious “door” story

Quinton Jackson found himself coaching alongside fellow former champion Rashad Evans on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ Season 10. During one of the bouts in the TUF house, Matt Mitrione of Team Evans secured a majority decision victory over Scott Junk. However, the outcome didn’t sit well with Jackson, and his frustration reached a boiling point. In a fit of anger, Jackson completely lost control and unleashed his fury on a door in the TUF gym, destroying it.

Reflecting on this incident in a recent interview, the 44-year-old admitted, “That door did not deserve that,”

Further discussing the same, the 44-year-old stated that he has the “worst temper on the planet”. Regarding the incident, Jackson revealed, “I was trying to leave because they cheated one of my fighters. I didn’t like the way they [were] treating my team, so I was trying to leave the gym. And I knew as soon as I threw that water, I was like, ‘Let me get off the camera, because I don’t know what I’m going to do if I lose my temper, I don’t know what I’m going to do or what I’m going to say. I’m probably would’ve hurt somebody.'”

He continued remorsefully, “I tried to open the door and there was a little b**ch right there, and it bounced back. And I just said, ‘F**k this door,’.

“That’s the most embarrassing TV moment of my life. When I lose my temper and stuff like that, it’s embarrassing.”, stated Jackson.

Although this story undoubtedly made headlines and caused immense embarrassment for the former champion, fans, despite their love for ‘Rampage,’ have their doubts.
