Moreno vs. Erceg height and reach comparison
A fighter’s combat arsenal is important for them, and it can make or break the clash inside the cage. However, physical attributes like height and reach play a significant role in giving an advantage to a fighter. The 12-3-0 flyweight star walks around at 5’8” and has 68 ” of reach. ‘Astroboy’s’ reach advantage gives him an upper hand during striking, and he can maintain distance while trying to outstrike his opponent.
Erceg is known for his striking and ground game, and the Orthodox-style fighter can get his precise striking and knees working since his height is similar to that of Moreno. His reach is also a few inches shorter than his opponent. Erceg is a gold medalist in national-level Aussie wrestling and tries to strike from a distance, and if there is a scramble, he tries to snatch up submissions. He is a pretty well-rounded fighter on paper and has long-distance striking with enclosed grappling. However, he did experience a knockout loss to Kai Kara France, who is much shorter, standing at 5’4”, and has a lesser reach with 69”.

Who weighs more, Brandon Moreno or Steve Erceg?
Steve Erceg has fought as both a flyweight and a bantamweight fighter so far. As a flyweight contender, Erceg has maintained in the 125-126 lbs area. When Erceg fought as a bantamweight combatant, he was able to get the required weight mark and never exceeded the weight limit. He never really had any weight-cut problems so far and has successfully made weight for his fights.
After witnessing the weight classes that Erceg has fought in, we can estimate that his walk-around weight is 140 lbs. Meanwhile, Brandon Moreno has fought in the flyweight division, which has a limit of 125 lbs. However, he walks around at 140 lbs, which is pretty high. Nevertheless, this time he was relaxed about his weight cut and mentioned the same to MMA Junkie. “I’m just enjoying the moment much better than the last time,” he said. He further added, “The last time I was just exhausted. I was tired of being in the gym, to be making the weight cut, whatever. So this time I’m just enjoying it a little bit more.”

Moreno acknowledged that Erceg was not having his best moment after the loss against Alexandre Pantoja and a first-round TKO loss against Kai Kara France; however, he admired his opponent’s prowess. “But he’s dangerous,” Moreno added. “He’s very talented, very good at boxing, very good at martial arts in general. I’m ready for him and all the things he’s bringing to the fight. It’s a fight that makes me very excited.”
We have witnessed Erceg get finished and out-grappled, but Moreno can finish and grapple even if he does make some mistakes. His gas tank is full, and he pushes forward no matter what. Moreno never leaves any stone unturned, so as per the weight and height, who will dominate whom? Both have a similar reach and height, so will Moreno win with relentless pressure, or Erceg win with his striking prowess?
