“You guys are the experts. I am a fan. I love Basketball, I used to do some boxing. But I watch you guys. And here is what I saw. And I am disgusted at the fact that Donald Cerrone was not able to get off. I am disgusted at the fact that Donald Cerrone once he was hit and hurt, did not step back to grab a moment, create some space or coming and grab a hold of Conor and regain his thoughts.”
“I think the misinterpretation is people said that Cerrone is disgusting or Stephen A found that disgusting. He was in many ways complimenting Cowboy. I know how Cowboy knows how to do these things, I know how he knows how to fight. I have watched him fight 50 men, I have watched him win 18 of the night bonuses, I am well aware he holds eleven distinctions for records within the UFC. I am disgusted on his behalf that he has to go and live with this performance where he was not thinking clearly enough to either step back to gain his wits or step in, hold and take a couple of deep breaths.” Sonnen continued.
