The fight between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal has been the talk of the town for quite some while now. The reason behind this is majorly the history these guys have. Of course, the Superbowl row is not easy to forget either.
Jorge Masvidal very recently featured in an interview where he answered questions on Kamaru Usman. He made many comments which weren’t particularly pleasant, including, “the guy has like ten personalities.”
Kamaru Usman was present at UFC 247 and was surrounded by the press. It was his turn to answer questions regarding Masvidal, and apparently, he fared much better at the task.

Responding to a question pertaining to Masvidal’s comments, Usman said, “I think if you look at the top 5 besides Woodley, and I’m the same guy since I came to the UFC. I’ve always been this fly. I’ve always dressed the way I do. It’s just that now I have a bigger platform. Everybody gets to see some of those things. I’ve always said the same thing that I wanted to say. I’ve always been confident.”
“That’s the way I train. I believe in myself and my abilities. I’ve never changed one bit. I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do? I’m gonna go in there and get it done.”
Carrying on about Masvidal’s interviews, Kamaru said, “he’s a guy, remember, who never wanted to do media. Now this clown is showing up at fights with a robe on. This guy’s wearing a suit pretending to be Tony Montana now! He’s turned into everything he said he wasn’t.”

Kamaru Usman is Not Worried About Masvidal
This reply to Masvidal’s “personality” statement was as crisp as it can get. Though displaying a calm and peaceful stature, Usman’s verbal counter is lethal enough to virtually knock Masvidal out.

Commenting on which opponent is tougher, Usman said, “Let’s weigh it out right now. Me standing with Masvidal or me standing with Tyron Woodley. Tyron Woodley, more power, yeah? Tyron Woodley can touch you and put you out. I should be worried about Masvidal? He couldn’t take out Nate Diaz and I should be worried about Masvidal? Come on man.”
This comes as a strong statement amidst there being an immense possibility of a Kamaru vs. Masvidal standoff.
Both fighters seem extremely confident of beating each other and this guarantees one thing. when the match does happen, and it will, both of them will bring their ‘A’ game. Such claims are always backed up by one’s best abilities and these two just promised that they will.
