The UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada will be the venue for this week’s Fight Night. A heavyweight clash will serve as the main event at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis. The second-ranked ‘Razor’ Blaydes will go up against #4 Derrick Lewis in what many expect to be one thriller of a fight.
Curtis Blaydes is riding on a four-fight win streak, which includes two dominating victories coming this year over Junior dos Santos and Alexander Volkov. Blaydes will be walking into his third fight of the year against an opponent who could present him with his sternest test.
Lewis himself is on a three-fight win streak. He defeated Ilir Latifi in February via a unanimous decision. His win over Aleksei Oleinik in August propelled him to the top of the list for the most knockouts in the heavyweight division’s history.
