EA and sports games are a love story better than any other. Over the years, Electronic Arts has been the leading name in developing sports games. Be it FIFA, Madden, or NHL, EA has delivered some phenomenal games over the years. Additionally, it has continued to deliver these games annually. Now, it has extended its partnership with UFC to release more UFC titles in the future.

EA and UFC’s love affair began in 2015 when EA entered the world of fighting games once again. Since then, there have been 4 UFC titles that have launched. Except for 2017, a title was launched every year. Even if the reception of the series was not too great initially, EA has enhanced the experience of the game over time. Now, with this long-term agreement, they look to deliver even better titles.

Although, EA has prior experience with developing fighting games. Its previous venture with the ‘Fight Night’ series has been great. ‘Fight Night Champion’, the last title released in 2011, received heaps of praise from critics. The game was praised for its realistic graphics, but then the series was discontinued for reasons unknown. With the UFC partnership, they plan to take things to the next level and mix things up for their combat games.

This year itself, EA launched FIFA 21, Madden 21, NHL 21 and UFC 4. All the titles have impressed the fans so far. Some fans may complain about the fairly unnoticeable changes in the FIFA titles every year, but it is still one of the highest-selling games. There is definitely room for improvement in every game, and EA will ensure that happens with future titles.
