Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero are set to face each other at UFC 248 on 7 March. The two met at the official press conference for UFC 248 and answered a series of questions. A variety of questions were asked and both the fighters answered any and all questions. There was but one question that Adesanya was tired of answering.
Israel Adesanya on Jon Jones
Jon Jones had stated that he does not need to fight Israel Adesanya to keep up his legacy, in response to an interview where Adesanya had said that Jones did need him.

This time around, Israel Adesanya was asked the same question. On being asked whether he needed Jones for his legacy, Adesanya said, “Nope. I don’t need to, but I want to”, and turning to Dana White, he said, “Dana, tell Mark, book the date. Raiders stadium. 2021. International Fight Week. It goes down.”
This wasn’t the first time Adesanya had made such a claim. He has been going all around in this battle between him and Jon Jones on social media, stating that he knows exactly when and where it’s about to happen. Raiders Stadium, International Fight Week, 2021. It would be pretty weird if this actually turns out to be true.

This was only the question regarding Jon Jones that Adesanya answered, it was surprisingly also the last. While Israel Adesanya has always loved to speak about Jones and the future fight that might just happen, the case was different this time.
As a second journalist began asking Adesanya a question pertaining to Jon Jones, Adesanya interrupted him. “F**K Jon Jones. This is about UFC 248. Enough of that motherfuc*er. Fuck that c*nt. Next question.”
After adding a few more bizarrely imaginative words of description for Jon Jones, Adesanya did not intend to answer any question regarding him that point on and stuck strictly to the business at hand, UFC 248. Whatever it may seem like, to me its an act of professionalism.

As mentioned earlier, he rarely gives up on a chance to trash Jones. To do so in a widely attended press conference shows some real promising character and seriousness towards the fighting business and UFC.
