Conor McGregor has been a very vocal advocate of self-quarantine. In addition, The Notorious One has been at the forefront of Ireland’s battle against the novel Coronavirus.
McGregor took to Twitter on 10th April to voice his concerns about the implementation of lockdown on Ireland’s borders. He is not the only one who has been talking about the issue of the arrival of UK-registered cars into Ireland via the ferry ports.

However, this was not the only Tweet that McGregor put out in order to raise awareness about this issue.

Several doctors in addition to the UFC superstar have asked for the complete closure of traffic. This is mainly because the U.K. has no community testing for the Coronavirus.

The Dublin born and bred UFC fighter took to social media on the 27th of March to sensitive and advise people over the do’s and don’ts when it comes to Coronavirus.
“If you do not enter the game, you cannot win it. We have now entered the game and with strict adherence to the methods, we will win. Our defense forces have been mentioned as a possibility in assisting our 15,000 available Gardai [Police] but only if necessary. However, it is necessary.”- Conor McGregor said in a video posted on Facebook
The Irishman has been quite outspoken in urging both, the Irish government and the Irish people, to the social distancing and quarantine methods.
