Combat sports athletes put their bodies in miserable pain to achieve world-class conditioning and shape. Being involved in the contact sport, these athletes’ instinct to react to things even outside the ring/cage is often on display when they are tackled by questions that degrade their work or brand. Jorge Masvidal recently reacted to one such past encounter where Mike Tyson was confronted by some questions the boxing legend found unpleasant.

The BMF champion started his martial arts journey from Kimbo Slice’s backyard fights. And the outside of Octagon antics from the veteran MMA fighter shows he still got that ‘ponytail’ Masvidal in him. Thus, Masvidal supporting Tyson came as no surprise.

Jorge Masvidal knows how to set his brand. After a remarkable 2019, the stars of ‘Gamebred’ have only gone higher and higher that too despite his failures inside the Octagon.
The 170 pounds UFC athlete often reacts to posts and clips on his Facebook page ‘gamebredfighter’. Recently, the BMF champion came across a past interview that showed vintage Mike Tyson getting angry.
The headline on the post shared by Masvidal’s Facebook page read, “Mike Tyson Almost Beats The Brakes Off A Disrespectful News Anchor”
Meanwhile, ‘Gamebred’ gave his reaction and wrote, “Sometimes these reporters think they can say anything and get away with it…”
The clip talked about in the post reflects on an old & infamous Mike Tyson interview. The Baddest Man on the Planet snapped at the interviewer, as he asked some questions that Tyson did not appreciate. Consequently, the interview ended shortly.

Masvidal seems to agree with Tyson’s behavior and put the blame on reporters. Even the Miami native faced somewhat of a similar situation once in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
Jorge Masvidal wanted to skip a few questions
In an interview with MMA reporter Ariel Helwani, the BMF king was asked a couple of questions he wanted no part of.
Helwani said, “You have spent time in jail.”

‘Gamebred’ passed the question. Later, when Masvidal refused to answer the MMA journalist’s question, even after Helwani pressed him to answer, the reporter changed the question and asked, “Can I ask about your father? He has been in jail as well.”
Masvidal looked visibly unhappy with these questions.
