The Paul brothers are making a lot of noise not only in boxing but the whole combat sports. It’s no secret that the two are gunning for the most lucrative bouts in boxing. Thus, Conor McGregor, the biggest PPV draw in combat sports (not named Floyd Mayweather), remains a dream for Jake Paul, who has been the more active of the two.
Though ‘The Problem Child’ has called out the Irish superstar on multiple occasions, the latter has shown little interest in the bout.

In a recent interview, while promoting the biggest women’s bout in boxing history with Champion Katie Taylor and Challenger Amanda Serrano this weekend in New York, Paul talked about ‘The Notorious‘ Conor McGregor.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer said, “I don’t give a f**k about him, to be honest. Yeah, I think he’s all boosted up on testosterone, putting out a bunch of weight. His cardio is going to be even worse now. You know all that muscle, it needs more oxygen. So, I don’t know what the f**k he’s doing.”

Afterward, the undefeated boxer went on a rant on McGregor and called him ‘over the hill’, ‘washed up’, ‘loser’, ‘drunk’, and ‘alcoholic’. Also, he proposed, “If he wants to make a bunch of money and get knocked out by me, then let’s run it.”
However, in case, ‘The Notorious’ doesn’t want to engage with him in a boxing ring. He said, “Like, I really don’t give a f**k.”
Paul has constantly mentioned that he would knock Conor McGregor out in a boxing fight. However, it would be interesting to see whether he could land the Irishman inside the ring against him or not before talking about the logistics of the bout.
Is Conor McGregor fighting against Jake Paul next?
Jake Paul has already hinted at his return. However, the MVP promotion head has finalized no particular opponent for his return bout. Paul will return in August.
The time frame aligns with Conor McGregor’s return as well. Yet the two wouldn’t be facing each other, as McGregor has previously suggested, that he is focusing on his MMA right now.

McGregor even hinted at a potential return fight against Kamaru Usman, the UFC welterweight champion of the world.
