Joe Rogan disparaged people who go after Floyd Mayweather for his reading skills. The famed podcast host sat down with UFC middleweight & light heavyweight Eryk Anders and had multiple discussions on various topics, including what’s going on in combat sports.

One of the best boxers in the world, ‘TBE‘ has an astonishing 50-0 record which has a plethora of former world champions’ names on it. Besides, some of these fights broke the box-office record, which boosted ‘Money‘ financially. Yet, certain people question the intelligence of the best defensive boxer of all time.

On the JRE MMA Show #126, UFC athlete, Eryk Anders pointed out people giving a hard time to Floyd Mayweather and said, “He gets a lot of sh**. People say he’s not smart; And like, I don’t know, like what his reading level is, but business mind, there, the dude is f***ing smart as sh**.”

The longtime UFC announcer gave an analogy to Anders’ comment, “Saying he’s not smart; because he doesn’t have a high reading level; because he doesn’t read a lot; is like saying that someone who’s like really good at something else; like really good at playing chess, but sucks at jiujitsu dumb.”

The 54-year-old, Rogan, added, “How much time has he spent trying to read? None, right? But how much time has he spent at boxing? f***ing his whole life. You can’t be that good at boxing and not be smart, right? It’s not possible.”

Floyd Mayweather has earned a ton of money in his boxing career. ‘TBE’ could outbid three top stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Simone Biles & Michael Phelps combined, and still have $634 million to splash.

The multi-division world champion boxer has been part of the two of the biggest combat sports event in terms of PPV buys. His bouts against Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor in 2015 and 2017 combined sold around 9 million PPVs. Besides, it made ‘Money’ unimaginable cash.

The millionaire podcast host appreciated Mayweather for his lifelong investment to master his boxing skills and summed up his thought by saying, “Well, he’s smart enough to know how good he is [at boxing].”
