The rivalry between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor has shown no signs of cooling down. In fact, Diaz’s latest jab at McGregor is bound to fan the flames. In a recent tweet, the Stockton Slapper went after McGregor’s performance against Floyd Mayweather in their 2017 boxing bout. What’s more, Diaz aimed his tweet at boxing legend Mike Tyson as well. The former UFC welterweight took an issue with Tyson’s take on the Mayweather-McGregor bout.
Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather competed against each other in a one-of-a-kind boxing bout in August 2017. The dance between the biggest stars of their respective sports at the time had the entire world watching them. Although McGregor had his moments, Mayweather eventually stopped him in the 1oth round. Despite the loss, McGregor earned a fat paycheck and commendation for his performance against Mayweather.
Evidently, Nate Diaz is not as impressed with it as Mike Tyson was.

Nate Diaz takes a shot at Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz first battled at UFC 196. In the welterweight bout, Diaz submitted McGregor in just the second round. A few months late, the pair rematched at UFC 202, where McGregor won via a split decision. 1-1 from their two meetings, their unfinished rivalry has boiled over on social media on plenty of occasions.

Now, it has happened again as Diaz went after McGregor in a response to Mike Tyson, who praised the Irishman’s boxing skills. In a recent tweet, the 37-year-old posted a video where he wrote, “I took him all the way out in about 8 minutes before that what does that tell you finishedDead.”
Diaz was referring to their first encounter where he finished McGregor in under 10 minutes. In what appears to be an Instagram clip, the former UFC star tagged Tyson, McGregor, and Mayweather to assert his dominance.
But what did Tyson say that set off Nate Diaz?
Mike Tyson’s compliment to McGregor
In the video that Diaz shares, we see Tyson giving his thoughts on the May-Mac fight. According to the former heavyweight champion, McGregor was also a winner of the fight in one sense.

The 56-year-old claimed that McGregor going ten rounds, with arguably the best boxer in history, in his first boxing bout, was a victory in itself. He was also in awe of McGregor finding success against Mayweather and landing shots of his own.
Tyson’s words, however, did not impress and unfazed Diaz. For the younger Diaz brother, McGregor’s feat was no big deal as he had choked him out just a few months ago.
