Conor McGregor lived up to his words in the early days in the UFC when he said he came to ‘takeover’ not just ‘take part.’ The former Cage Warriors double champion called his shots and achieved dual world champion status in the world’s biggest MMA organization. In achieving this unprecedented feat, he predicted the outcomes of most of his bouts, calling himself ‘The Mystic Mac’. However, the one prediction ‘The Notorious’ could fail at is becoming a billionaire at 35.

The 34-year-old has an estimated net worth of $200 million and has less than a year to boost his income to a billion. Although considering the profession he is in, it would not come as a surprise if he actually gets to the billion-dollar number before next July. And there appears one clear way he could achieve it.
Conor McGregor could get to billionaire status with rumored Floyd Mayweather series
The Irish star has been working hard on his fitness to get back to 100 percent ever since he broke his foot in his fight against UFC lightweight star Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The loss and the leg break did not stop the highest-paid UFC athlete to call it a day in combat sports.

McGregor shared his recovery process with the fans regularly. And with clips of him going hard at pads and in sparring, a return looks near. Besides, a potential billion-dollar matchup is looming around his head.
With reports that a Royal family is ready to host a two-match series between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor in boxing and MMA and with numbers as high as $1.5 billion being reported, it would be huge for McGregor’s earnings, if it comes to fruition.

While nothing has been confirmed from either party, the money involved would definitely entice both of them.
Apart from this, McGregor has a well-established business empire that ranges from clothing brands to fitness and other various fields, which are always there to help with the Irishman’s finances.
And if not at 35, the Irishman still has active years in MMA & boxing to break the bank and eventually become the first ever UFC fighter to become a billionaire. A status no other fighter is even close to achieving.
