Michael Gavin Joseph Bisping is an inductee in the UFC Hall of Fame. Notoriously known for winning the title with a blind eye. He wasn’t the biggest superstar present in the arena at UFC 281. So it wasn’t a surprise when, at Madison Square Garden, we saw Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger present in the arena.

However, it was Mike ‘Iron’ Tyson who got the biggest cheer as the camera rolled to his face. ‘Kid Dynamite’ is considered one of the greatest boxers to have ever graced the ring. He also is a huge fan of the UFC. He is a regular guest of blockbuster UFC events and a friend of UFC president Dana White.

He was present at the UFC 281 event as spotted by many fans. This sparked a conversation between Michael Bisping, along with UFC Lightweight fighter Anthony Smith and Mike Harrington, about his reception from the crowd. Michael hosts his podcast known as ‘Believe You Me’, where the trio sat down for a conversation.

Sylvester Stallone was seen meeting Nate Diaz and as they did, the crowd erupted. It was as if suddenly they were brought to life. Yet there was a bigger cheer incoming shortly after.

Michael Bisping recalled how he saw the duo together. “I saw him with Nate Diaz, I saw tons of people of course the camera went to him.” To which Anthony replied, “Yeah he was right next to Nate.

Anthony further added, “There’s no louder pop in the building than for Mike Tyson though.” To which Bisping replied, “Oh no, I know, because they went to Sly and then it went to Mike and boom

Iron Mike: A big fan of UFC

According to Mike, he could have easily joined the UFC instead of boxing if he started in this era. Mike listened to his trainer and coach and whatever they might have said. So, if they were associated with MMA instead of boxing, he could have joined the UFC.

Mike Tyson, also lauded as the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’, is one of the meanest punchers in the history of combat sports. He and the Octagon would have been a deadly combination for sure. Just imagine someone as cocky as Conor McGregor with punching power like Francis Ngannou and the striking accuracy of Max Holloway.
